Kiwoom Heroes' Kim Hye-sung (24) hopes to return to shortstop.

"I want to play shortstop (next year). I like shortstop the most," Kim said at the 2023 Choa Pharmaceutical Professional Baseball Awards held at the Eliena Hotel in southern Seoul on Tuesday. "I want to play shortstop the most," Kim said.

Kim Hye-sung is Kiwoom's main second baseman. At the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and the Asian Professional Baseball Championship (APBC) 2023, Kim was a second baseman for the Korean national team.

She is also armed with outstanding skills. Kim Hye-sung, who became the first winner in the second baseman category of the KBO defense award, is highly likely to win the second baseman category for the second consecutive year following last year's Golden Glove.

Kim Hye-sung's main position after graduating from Dongsan High School was shortstop. However, Kim Ha-sung (San Diego Padres), Kim's main shortstop, is holding out until 2020, and Kim settled on second base.
